Protection

The RSP-PV4.5-1200-3P PV arrester is equipped with high-energy varistors (MOVs). which provide reliable protection against overvoltages and lightning discharges, eliminating follow-up current. Each pole is equipped with two parallel MOVs with separate status indicators, allowing the arrester to continue operating even if one module is damaged. In this way, protection is uninterrupted and replacement of the defective module can take place at a convenient time
